From time to time we need to review certain items.

Smokers
Please make sure that you are smoking in the designated area's. We understand that we live in the HD and wind will pick up from time to time, ok all the time. We ask that you be courteous to those around you when you are smoking that it is not blowing into a crowd of people or into someone directly.

Finally, this has come up twice in the last couple of weeks therefore it needs to be addressed. There is absolutely NO drinking of alcoholic beverages ANYWHERE at ANY of the parks where our KIDS are playing baseball/softball. There is a ZERO tolerance policy regarding this.

Roster Adds, Bats & All Stars

Please be advised that there are no roster adds after the season has started. If a player is injured or quits, you may contact Steve for discussion regarding a possible add to the roster.

Also regarding bats, any bat -3 (drop 3) must BBCOR Certified.

For quick reference the rule is 8(C)(3) or page 17 of the Pony Rule book.

Also, in order to be eligible for the All Stars, each player must play 50% of the season.

Regarding 3rd to 1st Now Considered a Balk

Please note this rule regarding the 3rd to 1st move. MLB has clarified the rule and it reads as such:

8.05
If there is a runner on, or runners, it is a balk when-

8.05(b)
The pitcher, while touching his pitching plate, feints a throw to first or THIRD base and fails to complete the throw

This should eliminate any confusion that there may have been. Some organization were teaching it different, but the rule is pretty clear.
